After getting this phone, I wouldn't get a Samsung again. Yes, the camera is good but if you use your phone mainly for calls and texts then it could be better. I can hardly hear people speaking when I use the phone, and they always complain that they can hardly hear me (tried to adjust the volume and it ain't working!). The text navigation is not very intuitive, it takes much longer to write a text than with, say, a Nokia. Plus you don't have a "send to many" option on texts. Finally if you want to use your mobile phone as an alarm then you have to keep it switched on all night, whereas with Nokia's you can switch if off, then it will switch back on at the alarm time.
Verdict - does the job, but not as well as a Nokia

This neat little phone is so great to have and show off, I can't imagine not having it any more!
As being a 14 year old girl I wanted a pretty phone and have seen all my friends, had a laugh with the camera etc so I know what a lot of phones are like. This is my second phone, after having a trusty 3410 which lasted me nearly 4 years, and was still in perfect working condition- its just my dads phone came off contract so I recieved his, which had loads of photos and stuff I had taken on it anyway.
Lets start with the high quality polyphonic ringtones, my dad managed to find the relaxed "good morning" for his business meetings and I found "vacation" which is perfect for shopping and stuff. They are easy to hear and with a wide selection there shoul be no problem finding one you like.
The camera/video recorder is amazing for a phone, everyone comments on the crystal clear photos, and the capacity. I have taken over 40 photos but hav only 746 out of the 5120KB space!
The organiser is something I don't use mostly but I have put a few friends birthdays in it and frquently put reminders such as "give lovely daughter raise in pocket money" when my dad was the owner and it is eacy to find your way around.
Last but not least, the games were not all that great, but I don't play on them anyway apart from the addictive "BubbleSmile" and the odd game of chess.
Highly recommended, the small clamshell design sure looks gd in a pink handbag!

bought this as my 5th mobile phone (previously used nokias) and it takes a little time to get used to the sms change between brands, but i doubt i'll ever go back to nokia after purchasing this! Its packed full of features in such a small phone, the camera quality is brilliant and the video feature is handy. The ringtones sound so clear and its easy to get more via wap and gprs.
Overall a great phone, gunna last me for ages!

My girlfriend got me this phone for Christmas, and I love it! I'd had an old Nokia for years and for me this was a vast, vast improvement! The E600 is neat and small, but not so much that you can hardly see the screen or press the buttons, it comes with 2 batteries, one normally sized and the other streamlined, a mains adapter and a hands free kit.
The phone has a built in camera and a video recording function, with a multi shot and various other options available for the camera.
There are 2 colour display screens one internal and one external and photos can be taken with the folder closed. There are 4 games and it's easy to download more, the same goes for ring tones, which can be assigned to individual callers via the group option in the address book. The colour screen is very easy on the eye and the polyphonic ring tone is of a high quality.
I really like this phone for a lot of reasons, I love the WAP and the various options and settings available, it looks good and although it's small it's sturdy, compact and well put together. I'd recommend it to anyone.
